For the past few months my Fiat Stilo Sporting 1.9 16V diesel has been misfiring on cylinder 3. The fault code comes up as open/closed circuit failure on cylinder 3. The problem first occured back in October; it disappeared after a short period of time after the AA reset the engine fault light.

Simples. Remove the sports air filter and fit a genuine panel filter. They just dont suit some cars. May well be making it run too weak !
